One half of FAT Design, Fay graduated from the University of Melbourne with Honours. He proudly hails from Hong Kong through and through and looks to embed his Hong Kong cultural roots into his design.
Prior to partnering with Tony to form FAT Design, Fay held the role of Architectural Director in one of the largest architectural and engineering design firm in Hong Kong,and he brings in extensive knowledge about the residential sector and current market trends in residential design, having worked for the A-listed property developers in Hong Kong. Fay was also experienced in public institutional projects for ASD and NGO’s in Hong Kong, which won him the highest accolade in the Hong Kong Institute of Architects Award.

Tony Tsui - Co-founder

The other half of FAT Design, Tony graduated from the University of Melbourne with Honours. Born and raised in Hong Kong, educated in Australia with a scholarship to exchange to UC Berkeley, widened his exposure to different styles of architecture while deeply rooted in the culture of Hong Kong.
After graduation, Tony worked in local and international architectural design firms up to design firms up to senior management roles prior to starting FAT Design Studio, bringing in expertise in designing public institutional projects, schools, hostels, hospitals, retail mall and master planning. Tony is one of the few designers that has actual built experience in designing and construction using the “Modular Integrated Construction”, a new construction system that will revolutionize the Construction Industry in Hong Kong
